Tsunami Relief Efforts In Southeast Asia

On December 26, 2004, many countries in  Southeast Asia were devastated by tsunamis resulting from an undersea earthquake. The Canadian government, local community organizations, and individuals  are contributing  to  the relief efforts.

Government and relief organization authorities advise that a  particularly helpful way to provide support is to make a financial donation directly to one or more of the organizations involved in the relief efforts.

If you would like to contribute to the relief efforts please contact one of the agencies listed below:

·        Canadian Red Cross (www.redcross.ca or 1-800-418-1111)

·        UNICEF Canada (www.Unicef.Ca or 1-877-955-3111)
